They Bought a House Together (and Haven’t Lived to Regret It)

Friends Jonathan Travis and Ethan Rafii bought a shared country house in Chappaqua, N.Y., where they display their art collections and host an artist residency. They commissioned Simone Bodmer-Turner to create a plaster treatment for the fireplace wall in the great room, which swoops down to create an integrated firewood holder and bench. The coffee table is by Minjae Kim, and the work above the fireplace is by Laurie Nye.
